Microscope Ring Light

The idea
The ring light that shipped with my microscope gets a bit dim when zoomed in fully. So I decided to double the number of LEDs and make my own version. It is dimmed with a PWM controller and runs on 12V. 30 parallel rows of 3 LEDs in series with a resistor. The LEDs are all tilted towards a specific focal point under the microscope which meant that I couldn't just design a custom PCB for it. Soldering the LEDs was a bit of a chore but worth it in the end.
The design of the case was more of an afterthought and a bit rushed, so it could certainly have been nicer.
